Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Follow all health and safety procedures during food preparation and handling Support team members during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Manage stock levels, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests from customers

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Experience in meal preparation, culinary techniques, and serving is highly desirable Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the kitchen as required
