Position Overview:

As a Core Staff member, you will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, helping children experience the joys of childhood while building their self esteem and preparing for a positive future. Salary:

Up to 32,857 per annum - Your base salary is 30,457 (which includes paid sleep-ins at 50 per night), and you have the potential to earn a performance bonus of up to 2,400 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate engaging daily activities and appointments, ensuring that each child receives the support they deserve. Safeguard the health and wellbeing of children, creating a secure and nurturing environment. Provide direct support to children and young people with varying needs and levels of supervision. Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning, cooking, and shopping to ensure a comfortable living space. Manage relevant administrative duties, including creating timetables and documenting care and progress.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine passion for working with children and young people. A minimum of 12 months experience in a residential care setting for children. NVQ Level 3 in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or a willingness to complete this qualification). A basic understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and therapeutic care approaches. The ability to build positive relationships and provide both emotional and practical support. A full UK driving licence is required for use of the company car.
