Job Title: Residential Support Worker - Children's Home (Ofsted Registered)

Shift Pattern: 2 Days on, 4 days off (Sleep in Required)

Salary: From 28,000-31,000 per annum.

home. We are looking for passionate and experienced staff to join our brand new team!

Please note, the shift pattern is 2 days on 4 days off, which does include a sleep in- The right candidate must also hold a full UK driving licence.

Role Overview:

You will be working with young people up to 18 years old. You will play a vital role in supporting and helping them to build confidence, life skills, and resilience in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Build positive relationship

with resident to support their emotional and social development.

Support daily routine

, including meals, education, and activities.

Create a safe, nurturing environment

where young person feels secure and valued.

Manage challenging behaviour

using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies.

Maintain accurate records

including logs, reports, and incident forms.

Participate in household tasks

like cooking and cleaning when applicable.

Work flexible shifts/Rota

including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Relevant qualifications in youth work, social care, or a related field are preferred.

Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate young men from diverse backgrounds.

Attributes:

A proactive and energetic attitude, with a passion for working with young people. A commitment to being a positive influence and role model.

Requirements:

A valid UK driver's licence and a clear Enhanced DBS check or willing to complete one.
