We are looking for a passionate and driven Corporate Communications Executive to join us to cover maternity leave here at De Beers Group. In this role you will play an important role in upholding and enhancing our corporate reputation through our communication initiatives. Working closely with key internal stakeholders, you will contribute to the execution of our corporate communications strategy, both proactively and reactively, to support our corporate brand and our business objectives.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist in developing and implementing corporate communication activities across earned and owned channels.
  • Work alongside the Media Relations Manager to manage the Group\'s news grid and play a pivotal role in the global press office.
  • Oversee the Group\'s media monitoring platform and deliver media coverage reports.
  • Execute the corporate LinkedIn plan, manage website updates, and liaise with our website management agency.
  • Support the development of external communications materials, including Q&As, social media posts and more.
  • Assist in the development of corporate reports, including thought leadership publications.
Qualifications

What we are looking for:

With excellent relationship building skills and a proactive, organised approach you will also demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience within a corporate communications +/ agency environment.
  • Knowledge of corporate communications best practices.
  • Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of digital platforms and their optimization for external corporate communications.
  • A genuine passion for the field and willingness to learn.
