We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Assistant to join our team. As a Counter Assistant, you will play a vital role in our restaurant by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are met. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and kitchen, adhering to hygiene regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic maths for order totals. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Manage time effectively to handle peak hours smoothly while maintaining service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills with an ability to work well within a team and help others when needed.
