Job Summary

We're on the search for a front of house Counter Assistant to join our team.

The role of a Counter Assistant at our Chip Shop is simple.. to create a speedy but unforgettable customer experience to all our customers.

The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the counter and delivery service.

We offer full and part-time positions, previous experience is preferable but not required just show us that you are determined and willing to learn and we will teach you the rest.

Front of House Role within our Team

- Give our customers a warm welcome and provide excellent customer service in a fun environment
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, serving up amazing food and maintaining excellent standards
- Handling cash transactions and operating the till (you will be provided with full training)
- Serving and packaging up food items, working alongside our Pizza Chef's and Fryer Team
- We have a clean as you go policy, so everyone keeps cleanliness and tidiness of the counter area

- Work alongside our Delivery Team, answering phones and taking orders (Using touch screen tills) not as scary as it sounds, again you will be fully trained
- Follow all fire safety, health and safety and food hygiene training

Requirements

- Prior experience in a chip shop or kitchen environment
- Basic maths for handling transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and preferably knowledge of a chip shop menu
- Time management skills and ability to work at a quick pace, handling multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to get stuck in and help colleagues, working as part of a team is a must in our shop

Experience:
