Responsibilities

Serve customers at the counter with professionalism and enthusiasm Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards Handle cash transactions accurately and manage basic maths calculations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area in compliance with food safety regulations Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Assist with food safety procedures, including hygiene standards and temperature checks Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Experience in serving customers and handling cash transactions Basic maths skills for accurate billing and change handling Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively Good time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours Enthusiasm for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills
