About The Role

Responsible to: Country Club Manager / Hotel Management / Directors

About us

La Mon Country Club was established in 2001 as an extension to the Hotel. Since then, it has become one of Belfast's premier Health and Fitness centres. We offer a welcoming retreat for individuals and families looking to relax, unwind, and stay active. Facilities on offer include, 15m Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Tennis Court, Studio and two gyms.

The Role

To greet and welcome current, prospective members and Hotel Guests to the Club and to ensure the individuals safety and comfort at all times. To ensure the expected high standards of customer service, health & safety, cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in La Mon Country Club as a whole.

Main tasks and duties

Gym

To ensure that assistance is available in the fitness suites at all times To devise Gym Challenges To carry out periodic checks on fitness rooms and on all equipment To undertake fitness instruction where qualification or adequate training permit

Pool and Spa

To supervise pool areas To maintain pool and Jacuzzi water temperature and chemical balance To assist with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the pool, spa, sauna and steam room as required by management

General

To deliver excellent customer service and exceed the clients expectations
o To maintain and operate a tidy reception area to 4Hotel standard o To have knowledge about all aspects of the Country Club and Hotel services

To ensure there are adequate stock of towels available for Hotel guests to use the facility To assist with all aspects of cleaning and hygiene procedures To take due care and attention when undertaking any task or procedure To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
o To ensure effective communication to management and peers o Answering the telephone to internal and external calls


Report and where appropriate act on any incident, accident, fire, loss or damage To follow all health and safety policies and procedures as devised by management

o To attend training courses as and when necessary o Any other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by management
