Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely service and maintaining excellent communication with clients. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Collect parcels and goods from the warehouse or designated collection points Deliver items to clients across designated routes within specified timeframes Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for as required Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays Assist with loading and unloading heavy items, employing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly Follow organisational procedures for route planning and delivery prioritisation

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, ideally within a commercial driving environment Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., car, van, lorry) Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimisation tools is preferred
This role requires a dedicated individual who can manage their time effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, experience in commercial transportation, and the physical capability for heavy lifting tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 2,035.00-4,471.69 per month
