The Courier Company (UK) Ltd is a specialist dangerous goods carrier based in Bletchley that has been trading for over 32 years. We pride ourselves on the service we provide to our clients as well as our sustainability and hold both ISO9001 quality, and ISO14001 environmental accreditations.

The service we provide to our clients is paramount, but we cannot provide it without good people, so we strive to create an environment and culture where our employees are fully supported and feel valued.

We currently have two (2) vacancies for drivers in the Oxford area to join our growing but close-knit team who make deliveries all over the UK for our clients to businesses, hospitals and airports.

They are full time positions working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, daily start times will vary between 05:00 and 09:00. There is a very high demand for our services, and you may be required to work overtime on very busy days. Our clients often give us additional business at short notice; flexibility is a key factor in why they choose us, and we must have that same flexibility from our staff.

Successful candidates will need to adhere to our SOP's that are bespoke to individual clients, requiring consignments to be collected from their sites, airports or our depots to then make deliveries to businesses, hospitals, airports or returns to one of our depots.

Be happy to work on their own whilst still being a team player.

A self-starter.

Experience in a driving role.

We offer a competitive salary, driving bonus scheme and benefits. Previous experience in a driving role is not essential but would be an advantage. Full training will be given where required in the specialist areas of our business.
