Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage. Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles is an advantage. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as needed. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
