Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our logistics operations with punctuality and professionalism. A valid driver's licence with no more than 6 points.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury. Collect signatures or proof of delivery from customers as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; a driver qualification is preferred. Experience in commercial driving or operating heavy vehicles is advantageous. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules. Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations within the area of operation. Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and responsibility in all duties.
