An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join the Registry and Academic Development Directorate, providing a high-quality and responsive administrative service in support of the student lifecycle and enhancement activities.

This is a busy and varied role requiring meticulous attention to detail and an ability to multi-task to ensure that all duties are completed effectively and to the highest of standards. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and take pride in providing a high-quality service to all customers.

Key duties include:

Providing a high-quality service to all customers (Students, Professional Services Teams, and Academic Staff) through a variety of means, such as face-to-face, email and Microsoft Teams. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and use initiative to meet deadlines. Providing administrative support for key activities within the student lifecycle (e.g. Handling student enquiries relating to term dates, awards, and timetabled sessions etc.) Supporting student casework and investigations by preparing documentation for meetings, including the servicing of meetings, in areas of work such as Academic Misconduct. Assisting the Student Operations Team with events and projects, such as graduation ceremonies and examination and assessment processes, along with other exciting University-wide projects. The maintenance of student records and related information held within the relevant University records and information systems.


Applicants will have experience of administrative work in a busy environment and will be able to satisfy all criteria detailed in the person specification.
