CQC Registered Manager

to lead the service into its next phase of excellence.

Liberty Lodge is a warm and homely 6-bed residential service supporting adults aged 18-65 living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health conditions, dual diagnosis, and Behaviour That Challenges. Our mission is to empower individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives through structured support, therapeutic approaches, and compassionate care.

Role Purpose



The Registered Manager will be responsible for the

overall leadership, compliance, performance, and quality of care

delivered at Liberty Lodge. You will ensure the service meets and exceeds CQC regulatory standards, fosters a positive and empowering environment for residents, and remains financially sustainable and well-occupied.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management



Provide strong, visible leadership and support to staff, ensuring a positive and professional culture. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, multi-disciplinary teams, and external agencies. Promote Liberty Trail's values and vision across the service.

Care & Support Delivery



Oversee personalised care planning and delivery to meet residents' therapeutic and daily living needs. Ensure residents' rights, dignity, choices, and independence are upheld. Foster an environment that supports progression, positive outcomes, and meaningful activities.

Regulation & Compliance



Ensure full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and Health & Social Care Act requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, records, and policies. Lead inspections, audits, safeguarding investigations, and regulatory reporting.

Staff Management & Development



Recruit, induct, train, and develop staff in line with best practice. Conduct supervision, appraisals, performance reviews, and workforce planning. Build a motivated, skilled, and high-performing team culture.

Financial & Resource Management



Manage budgets, resources, and procurement efficiently. Ensure financial sustainability and operational effectiveness of the service.

Quality Assurance



Continually monitor and improve quality and service delivery standards. Manage complaints, incidents, and risk assessments appropriately. Drive continuous improvement to achieve GOOD or OUTSTANDING outcomes.

Occupancy & Engagement



Maintain high levels of occupancy while ensuring appropriate resident mix. Build local authority and community partnerships to support referrals and service development.

Experience & Qualifications



Essential



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) Minimum 2+ years in a care management role with proven GOOD and/or OUTSTANDING CQC outcomes Previous CQC Registered Manager experience Strong understanding of Autism, Mental Health & Behaviour That Challenges Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Strong safeguarding and compliance knowledge

Desirable



Experience managing a similar residential service Therapeutic background or PBS knowledge Experience working with Local Authorities and Care Providers
