We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our CQC-regulated care service across North East region. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-quality, person-centred service that supports adults with a range of needs, including complex care, dementia, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, staff development, and continuous service improvement. You'll work closely with service users, families, staff, and external stakeholders to deliver care that is safe, responsive, and empowering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day care operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, dignity, and personalised care.
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, managing inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Recruit, supervise, and support a skilled care team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Act as (or support) the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust safeguarding and risk management.
Oversee care assessments, planning, and reviews to ensure person-centred outcomes are achieved.
Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, NHS teams, and community partners.
Monitor performance against service-level KPIs, contracts, and local authority frameworks.
Maintain accurate, digital care records and ensure data protection using platforms such as Nourish, BrightHR, and Croneri.
Requirements
Essential
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior care management role
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and person-centred care
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Right to work in the UK, full UK driving licence, and access to a vehicle
Desirable
Experience with complex care, supported living, or reablement
Knowledge of North Yorkshire care frameworks and contracts
Familiarity with digital compliance systems such as Nourish or BrightHR
Additional training in safeguarding, PBS, or mental health
