We can offer Maintenance and Service Contracts providing a total turnkey solution from concept to completion. Halton invests heavily in R&D, and have extensive testing facilities in Rochester, Kent.

Principal purpose or objective of the job

To assist the Logistics and Export Coordinator in the crating and dispatch of Halton Foodservice products. To provide maintenance as required to the factory, yard and grounds.

Main duties/key tasks/key result areas

Daily reporting to the Logistics and Export Coordinator Preparing items for dispatch and assisting with dispatch. Loading and unloading of lorries with the forklift. On occasion: Assisting the stores with delivery of goods in Checking communal areas and reporting faults/ areas requiring attention as and when required Completing daily checks (AM/PM) in the washroom facilities- replenishing consumables when required Mowing the lawn/Trimming back bushes and hedges in the warehouse grounds (Other yard duties may be required on occasion i.e tidying/sweeping/ painting lines etc To work collaboratively with other factory employees To follow and adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Experience/Qualifications

Counter Balance Forklift Licence Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment. Organised and methodical manner Problem solving skills Competent in using hand tools Working to specific timescales and deadlines

Remuneration

Salary: Dependant on experience

Holidays: 25 days plus birthday and UK bank holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
