Job Description

CHARLIE OSCAR

Charlie Oscar is a digital growth company built to transform brands, powered by marketing science.

We combine data, technology, and creativity to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that break the status quo for some of the world's most ambitious brands. Put simply: we transform growth.

Our consultancy gives clients the tools and expertise to unlock new revenue - from Paid Social to Influencer Marketing, maximising every growth lever.

But growth isn't just about numbers. At Charlie Oscar, we know creativity is a critical driver of success, accounting for 80% of social algorithm performance. That's why we're scaling our creative team and capabilities to deliver world-class content and bold ideas that help brands cut through the noise.

This is where you come in.

As we grow our creative offering, we're looking for a visionary Creative Strategist (or Creative Strategy Lead) to shape and elevate our content approach. You'll collaborate with paid media specialists, data scientists, and designers to deliver innovative, performance-driven creative strategies for our clients--and for Charlie Oscar's own brand.

We hire based on attitude and culture-add. While experience and expertise matter, we're looking for someone who's excited to challenge conventions, bring fresh thinking, and deliver best-in-class work.

We also believe growth should feel good. Work-life balance and team well-being are core to how we operate. Alongside delivering impact, we make time to bond as a team, with quarterly socials and an annual company retreat to recharge and connect. You'll find us collaborating in our London Bridge office and working from home as part of a flexible, supportive environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Creative Strategist to play a pivotal role in growing Charlie Oscar's creative function. This is an opportunity to help shape the vision, define processes and deliver high-performing, social-first content strategies for a variety of ambitious, e-commerce-led brands.

You'll be at the intersection of creativity and performance, balancing bold ideas with insight-led decision-making. Working closely with our Creative Team, Client Strategy Team and clients, you'll develop concepts that blend cultural relevance, audience insight and platform best practices to help brands achieve meaningful growth.

This role is ideal for someone who loves solving commercial problems and driving growth through creative thinking, with an interest in paid media and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop and lead creative strategies for our clients, ensuring their brand storytelling is engaging, insight-driven, and built for performance. Partner closely with the paid media team to ensure creative is optimised for each platform's algorithms and audience behaviours. Work with the Content Producer/Creative Manager to bring your ideas to life, overseeing storyboarding, scripting, and production of scroll-stopping content. Support the evolution of Charlie Oscar's creative offering, establishing processes and frameworks that scale with client needs. Lead ideation sessions and develop campaign concepts that combine cultural, audience, and data insights. Oversee creative reporting and auditing on a monthly basis, to ensure we're backing up creative thinking with performance and commercial insights. Embed test and learn frameworks and continuous improvement in creative strategies and output. Be a thought leader in digital creative, staying ahead of platform trends and sharing inspiration across the agency. Support new business pitches with creative strategic input and the development of bold, innovative concepts. Mentor and inspire creative talent, contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
