Credit Control Administrator, Remote Role
22- 25kpa Plus Benefits
We are looking for a Credit Control Administrator to join a high performing team, this role will support the Credit Control team. You will be a self-starter, eager to dive into all things credit control. You must be confident in liaising with all stakeholders (internal and external). You will be part of a small, close-working finance team who work mostly remotely, and therefore you must be able to manage your time and workload efficiently and be comfortable working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Chasing Payments:
o Contact customers via phone, email, or letter to remind them of overdue payments.
o Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding debts.
2. Credit Checking:
o Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
o Use credit agencies or internal policies to decide whether to extend credit.
3. Setting Credit Limits:
o Work with finance managers to assign credit limits based on customer history and risk.
4. Processing and Allocating Payments:
o Ensure payments are correctly allocated in the system.
o Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
5. Administrative Tasks:
o Maintain accurate records of communication with customers.
o Update internal databases and prepare regular reports for management.
6. Supporting Month-End Activities:
o Help with reporting and reconciliations as part of the finance team's close-out process.
The successful candidate will have a grounding in Accounts/ Credit Control.
