Job Description

We are looking for a full-time, experienced Credit Control and Finance Administrator to join our Service Support team. If you're seeking a new challenge and the chance to make a real impact within a well-established business, this could be the role for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring the accurate and timely collection of payments in a predominantly B2B environment, and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities



Carry out all credit control activities, ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments (including subscriptions) Develop strong relationships with clients and internal SSG teams to resolve queries and disputes quickly and professionally Complete daily bank reconciliations, keeping customer accounts fully up to date Maintain accurate records of communication and agreements Prepare and issue client invoices in line with contract agreements Process cancellations and transfers Issue client statements Support accounts payable activities, resolving discrepancies with supplier invoices, staff expense claims, and credit card usage Manage company credit card transactions and reconciliations Monitor and report on financial KPIs, working closely with the Head of Business Support Provide general support to the Service Support team and wider business, including assistance with training room arrangements for lunch, refreshments and room clearing in our busy training environment

Skills and Experience



A minimum of 2 years' experience of working within a busy financial environment Highly organised, self-motivated, with an exceptional eye for detail Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships while upholding high customer service standards Experience using Xero and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) Confident working with IT systems and comfortable navigating multiple applications Proven ability to manage a busy workload, meeting key financial deadlines and targets A proactive, can-do attitude, willing to support colleagues across the wider business Enjoy problem-solving and finding solutions to both internal and external queries Open to challenging existing processes and suggesting improvements A sense of humour
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
