THE ROLE
The Credit Control Assistant will assist the Credit Controller in maintenance of the Sales Ledger and chasing customer payments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Allocate payments from customers
Maintain accurate records
Chase payments by any appropriate means
Assist the Credit Controller to manage credit risk by carrying out appropriate credit checks
Assist in improving credit control procedures
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills
Proven experience of maintaining a sales ledger preferred
Experience of working within a busy accounts department would be advantageous
Self-motivated and keen to learn
Able to work as part of a team
