Crematorium & Cemetery Operative 2



Grade 06 27,711 - 29,093 per Annum

Wrexham County Borough Council are looking to recruit to the post of Cemetery and Crematorium Operative 2. The post will primarily be based at Pentrebychan Crematorium but the successful candidate will also be required to work at Wrexham and Plas Acton Cemeteries.



The successful applicant will undertake a broad range of bereavement related duties including cremations and burials, as well as grounds maintenance duties. Applicants will ideally have experience of crematorium or cemetery work as well as grounds maintenance or horticultural work. The successful candidate will also have some experience of using computers, as this is a key requirement to operate the cremation equipment



A 3-week shift pattern is in operation. Hours of work will be:

8.30am - 4.30pm (Monday - Thursday) 8.30 - 4.00 (Friday) for two weeks, and 10.00am - 6.00pm (Monday - Thursday) 10.30am - 6.00pm (Friday) for week 3.
