Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and service. This role involves overseeing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The Chef will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of hospitality and cuisine.

Responsibilities



Prepare a variety of traditional Indian and Bangladeshi curries such as, Bhuna, Dupiaza, Balti and Massala. Use spices and ingredients with precision to deliver consistent flavour and high quality. Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness at all times. Ensure presentation, taste, and portion control meet Spices of Paradise standards. Suggest and prepare new curry dishes based on our customer preferences. Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage ingredient rotation.

Skills



Proven experience as a Curry Chef Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team effectively Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Skilled in food presentation, culinary techniques, and menu creation Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Good organisational skills with attention to detail
