Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and preparation processes. Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Prepare and present dishes with attention to detail, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Experience in team management, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a kitchen setting. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively lead the kitchen team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
