Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Nepali Curry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production and preparation, with a strong background in hospitality and restaurant environments. As a Curry chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing a team of kitchen staff, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Lead the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Implement menu changes and specials based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Nepali culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervision. Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other departments. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Previous experience in serving or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
