Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate curry Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food preparation and production, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. As the curry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard. Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff in their roles, promoting professional development. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Address any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation. In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities with a passion for developing talent within the kitchen team. Ability to work collaboratively with others while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.

Pay: 30,000.00-34,000.00 per year
