The Role:

This is a 6 month maternity cover position

Lead the management and delivery of brand-related insight across New Look, ensuring brand health and customer perception are clearly understood and actively shape decision-making. This role is responsible for generating timely, commercially relevant insight that supports both strategic planning and creative execution across Brand, Marketing, Creative, and Channel teams. Through expert storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the link between brand and business performance, this role ensures insight drives action and long-term value.

What you'll be doing:



BRAND TRACKING. Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Brand Equity tracking programme, working closely with external agencies and CRM team. Monitor and interpret key brand health metrics, producing compelling and concise narratives that regularly distil findings and provide actionable insight to stakeholders across Brand, Marketing, Creative. AD HOC BRAND INSIGHTS. Lead ad hoc qualitative and quantitative research into brand proposition, brand communications, and customer profiling, partnering with internal teams and third-party agencies to design and deliver research that enriches the broader brand insights narrative. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND INSIGHT COLLABORATION. Act as the key point of contact for brand-related insights, working with stakeholders (including c-suite) to champion the role of brand insights in strategic planning. Collaborate with colleagues from market and customer insights workstreams to ensure the business is receiving a joined-up, coherent insight narrative. COMMUNICATION AND STORYTELLING. Use tools such as PPT and Power BI to bring data to life through clear, compelling visual storytelling. Create insight-led reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable narratives tailored for different audiences. COMMERCIAL ACUMEN AND STRATEGIC INFLUENCE. Confidently demonstrate the connection between brand and commercial performance, using data to influence decision-making and leveraging other data sources as required. Support stakeholders in understanding how brand perception drives customer behaviour and long-term loyalty and value. ON-GOING DISCOVERY. Stay abreast of macro consumer, retail and fashion trends, integrating these with research learnings to provide context and inform thinking. Leverage agency partners and industry events to stay curious, exploring innovations and sharing back with colleagues.

Who you are:



Familiarity with Kantar's MDS framework desirable Experience managing brand tracking programmes and ad hoc brand and comms research Experience managing brand and marketing stakeholders including at c-suite level Strong storytelling skills; a proven ability to bring learnings together into a simple, cohesive narrative Strong analytical skills; incredibly numerate, with a proven ability to interrogate data Strong communication and presentation skills An ability to think on your feet and work at pace is desirable Interest in fashion and retail sector is desirable
