Summary

As a Customer Service Operator at JAMA LOGISTICS, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. Located in the UK, this position is crucial for maintaining strong relationships with our customers and facilitating smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person Process bookings and service requests accurately and efficiently Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and efficiency Maintain customer records and update relevant systems with accurate information Collaborate with logistics and operations/sales teams to ensure client needs are met Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes Ensure compliance with company policies and UK logistics regulations. Perform general administrative duties including data entry and document preparation

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in a customer service or logistics-related role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with customer service software and competency in excel Ability to manage spreadsheets and internal systems with attention to detail Comfortable multitasking and working under pressure Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Knowledge of logistics, transportation, or supply chain is a plus
