About the Role:
This is a key role within the Development team, responsible for the effective management of the Raiser's Edge database and the operational delivery of development and alumni engagement activities. The Database Officer ensures the accuracy and integrity of data, supporting fundraising efforts, alumni communications, and financial processes related to donations and awards. Core responsibilities include managing data imports, such as importing graduate data from student records systems, preparing datasets for the Graduate Outcomes Survey mailouts, and producing insightful reports. The role also ensures compliance with data protection and fundraising standards. By maintaining a reliable and responsive database, this post is central to enabling meaningful engagement with alumni and donors and advancing the university's philanthropic goals.
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with experience using the Raiser's Edge. You'll have a degree, or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification or have a demonstrable appropriate level of experience. You'll have a strong understanding of data management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will be confident working with large datasets, producing reports, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance. A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders are essential.
