is a family-run, female-owned business based in Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford. We specialise in vehicle body repairs - from small scratches and bumper scuffs through to full accident damage repairs. Our customers include local residents, fleet operators, and trade clients. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive manager to oversee our office's and daily operations. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You'll be supporting both the Director and workshop team, keeping operations running smoothly, and representing DB Auto Solutions online and in the community.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in administrative and operational functions. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Duties
Manage and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere
Organising logistics - vehicle collections, deliveries, and scheduling
Handling bookkeeping, invoicing, and purchase invoices.
Managing emails, calls, and everyday admin.
Creating and posting engaging content on social media.
Researching suppliers, industry trends, and opportunities.
Networking locally to promote DB Auto Solutions.
Assisting with vehicle collection/delivery when required.
Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and assist with budgeting processes
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance organisational effectiveness.
Experience, Skills and Capabilities
Proven experience in an office management or administrative role
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Experience with bookkeeping and Sage accounting software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint).
Confident with social media platforms and content creation.
Good communication skills - written and verbal.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Flexible, reliable, and adaptable.
Full UK driving licence required.
