We are looking for a part-time Office Manager to join our growing construction business. This role is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and familiar with the construction or trades sector. You'll support the smooth running of our operations by managing admin, finances, and supplier communications. The role is based at our office in Bracknell with flexibility for remote working.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Project Support
Place material orders and manage supplier communications
Track deliveries and order status
Maintain records of project costs and supplier invoices
Finance & Accounts
Record purchases and upload receipts to
Raise and send invoices to clients
Reconcile bank transactions and supplier accounts
Process payroll and manage CIS deductions and returns
Liaise with external accountants as required
Office & Admin Support
Maintain digital filing systems and project documentation
Support health & safety record-keeping and compliance documents
Assist with subcontractor onboarding and documentation
Keep insurance and accreditations (e.g. CHAS, Constructionline) up to date
Manage correspondence, phones, and team calendars
Support tender and quote preparation
Team & Client Coordination
Handle basic client and subcontractor queries
Schedule meetings, site visits, and diary appointments
Assist project teams with documentation and reporting
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Experience in an office/admin role (construction or trades background preferred)
Confident with accounting software
Understanding of CIS and payroll processes
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable:
Knowledge of health & safety compliance within construction
Experience supporting project managers or directors
