We are looking for reliable and professional delivery drivers to operate under our company, providing
parcel and furniture delivery services
on behalf of
XDP
from the
Rochester depot
.
This is a
fast-paced but rewarding role
delivering a variety of goods to residential and commercial addresses. Routes typically include
40-60 multi-drop deliveries per day
, covering deliveries in the SE postcode area.
You'll be representing both our company and XDP on every delivery --
professionalism, care, and good customer service
are essential.
What's Involved
Load your van at the Rochester depot each morning.
Complete 40-60 stops, parcels and flat pack furniture deliveries per route.
Use route mapping and delivery software for scanning and proof of delivery.
Handle goods carefully -- some items may be large or heavy (
trolleys recommended
).
Maintain clear and professional communication with the depot and customers.
What You'll Need
LWB (Long Wheelbase) Van
-- suitable for furniture and bulkier items
Courier Insurance
,
Goods in Transit
(minimum cover 25,000), and
Public Liability Insurance
(minimum cover 5 million).
Smartphone
for route management and delivery app use.
Basic moving equipment
such as trolleys.
Good
time management
and
customer service
skills.
Ability to commit to
Monday-Friday routes
, with an
optional 6th day
available during busy periods.
