We're looking for a reliable and organised person to support our logistics and customer service functions. With 8 vans delivering our pies and pastries daily, this role helps keep things running smoothly, ensures issues are followed up, and supports the rollout of new tools that improve the customer experience.
Logistics Support
Organise MOTs, servicing, accident management and maintenance for our vans with our maintenance partner
Assist with planning van routes and weekly driver rotas, always looking to improve efficiency
Ensure drivers complete all required daily checks - both physical inspections and paperwork / money handling
Follow up on any driver-reported issues or vehicle concerns promptly to avoid disruption
Supervise drivers team holidays and assistance, communicating effectively with management
If needed, cover for drivers' route as relief driver
Customer Support
Act as a point of contact for customer complaints and service issues organising closed loop contact
Liaise with drivers and internal teams to investigate and resolve problems quickly, including sales and finance, making sure we hear of any problems from the customer facing team
Log issues and help track recurring trends to support service improvement
Support credit control team with debt collection matters as required
Support Business Improvements
Assist with the rollout of online self-service tools for customers
Help implement systems for online payments and account access
Contribute to small continuous improvement projects in logistics and service
Hold weekly drivers 121 meeting to make sure we are aware of any customer changes or dissatisfaction
What We're Looking For
Organised and methodical, with good attention to detail
Friendly and confident when dealing with customers and team members
Comfortable using basic digital tools like email and spreadsheets
Proactive, positive, and willing to get stuck in
Experience in logistics or customer service is helpful, but not essential
