What does this team do?





From websites to platforms, apps and more, we help businesses create experiences for their customers. We use technology and creativity to build these new products, services, and ways of working, so we can make customers happy and help businesses grow. We work with clients to understand what their customers really want and need, and then we use design, technology, and marketing to create solutions that meet those needs.



The team you would be joining within Deloitte Digital would be:

We help clients to deliver and operate customer experience across marketing, commerce, sales, and service by providing services that align with company ambitions.



What skills and academic qualifications do I need?





You'll need to have obtained or be studying towards at least 104 UCAS points (260 UCAS points pre-2017) for your A levels (or equivalent) to be eligible for this programme. In this role you will study towards: BrightStart BSc (Hons) in Computer Systems Degree. You will attend Ulster University for one day a week during term time and outside of term time you will work 5 days a week. This is a degree apprenticeship; therefore, you need to have not already completed a degree. No prior coding/configuration experience is required, however a broad interest in technology/digital tools and how they work is advised.

What kind of work will I do?





The kind of work you will do will differ depending on the area within Deloitte Digital.



Tasks include:





Helping to deliver projects for our clients, being a valuable member of the team from day one, collaborating with diverse and talented team members to help solve problems, improve performance and generating value for clients Every project is different, but some examples of responsibilities include: Creating materials for workshops, communications, project plans and progress reporting. Participating in project workshops and meetings alongside our clients - contributing to discussions, taking actions and minutes. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, understanding their needs and consistently exceeding their expectations with innovative solutions. Providing expert advice and assistance to our clients, tailored to their needs. You will deliver tangible, positive changes for public, private, and financial service organisations. You will learn new project management tools, as well as technologies including Java, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, Vue, Python, JavaScript, Kubernetes and Terraform.

Where will I work?





At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you're in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

How will I develop?





As a BrightStart you will get the following opportunities:



Our dedicated Consulting Early Experience team will support you from your first day. You will attend our amazing Analyst Induction Programme (AIP) alongside Industrial Placement and Graduate new joiners to learn about the firm, our culture and how we work - this is bespoke to our Consulting business. You'll get an opportunity to practice the key skills you'll need on client projects. AIP, held in person, is 5-days long and includes engaging talks, group activities and immersive simulation challenges. You'll meet many team members from your business area, including your People Leader and Resource Manager, and make a few friends along the way. Following AIP you move into more specific business area training for a few more weeks - all exciting and very relevant to your future client/project engagements. You will then kick start your professional career, whilst working towards a qualification with our dedicated apprenticeship provider, allowing you to earn while you learn! You will gain real-world experience and have the opportunity to network with colleagues at all levels of seniority and have access to lunch and learns, mentors and more!

Upon being offered a role, you will be assigned a buddy who is currently or recently completed a BrightStart programme. They will be your informal point of contact for any queries, and to offer insight and guidance ahead of joining.
