We are seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist to join our family owned dental laboratory. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for clients while efficiently managing general administrative tasks with our dental lab software, answering telephone calls, communicating with dental practices and suppliers. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as strong computer skills and using your own initiative. Using Xero software is a bonus.
Duties
Handle all clients inquiries and provide information regarding treatments and services.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Booking in coming and out going laboratory work.
Organising daily postage and shipping.
Process clients payments and manage billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations with other practices.
Utilise IT systems for scheduling, record keeping, and communication purposes.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
Background in dental nursing or healthcare administration is advantageous but not essential.
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with dental software systems, essential training will be provided.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, clients and colleagues.
