A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Practice Manager to work in our mixed, state of the art, specialist orthodontic practice in Bathgate.

As a fully skilled practice manager, based in our Bathgate practice, your main focus will be to ensure the smooth operation of the practice and ensure the efficient day-to-day management of the practice. You will work in conjunction with the practice owner to ensure that the practice provides a professional, friendly and pleasing environment for the patients, to ensure a healthy and beautiful smile for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
The will include, but not be limited to the following:
Day to Day running of the practice on a continually developing basis in a fast-paced & challenging environment.
Line management responsibilities for all staff, undertaken with a friendly and professional manner.
Providing support and on-going development to staff to assist in the provision of exceptional orthodontic services to patients.
Leadership of full team including staff recruitment, rotas, appraisals, 1-on-1 meetings and inductions/training.
Managing the practice clinical governance, risk assessment and compliance system and maintaining practice policies as per current regulatory requirements.
Financial Management of the practice, including NHS prior approval and payment claim form submission, patient fees and staff wages.
Promoting a friendly & thriving team environment and culture that is committed to ensuring a good morale in the practice.
Data Protection Officer duties to ensure compliance with data protection law as relevant to the practice.
Ensure the provision of best possible clinical care to the highest standards, by highly qualified and well motivated staff, with unrivalled customer service to patients.
Skills
Forward thinker and excellent planner, with attention to detail.
Understanding the generation of income and cost control in an orthodontic practice setting.
Well organised, with good time management skills.
Good management experience with relevant qualifications.
Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with keen eagerness to learn.
Be able to communicate well with staff and member of the public.
Knowledgeable in the current regulations, HR processes and compliance.
Well presented, reliable and honest.
A committed team player who will take on the responsibility for marketing the whole practice to referring dentists and the wider community.
Driven and focused with a desire to achieve outstanding results.
Ideally from a clinical background.
