Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations & Leadership
Full responsibility for daily practice operations, workflow efficiency, and clinic performance.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the clinical and non-clinical team (reception, nursing, treatment coordination).
Implement systems, policies, and processes that support a high-end private patient experience.
Financial & Commercial Management
Oversee practice budgets, expense control, and revenue performance.
Manage private fee structures, treatment plan presentation, and patient conversion rates.
Monitor KPIs including chair utilisation, treatment acceptance, recall effectiveness, and patient retention.
Work closely with the practice owner to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.
Patient Experience & Front-of-House
Ensure a consistently professional, welcoming, and premium patient journey.
Handle escalated patient concerns professionally and efficiently.
Oversee appointment scheduling efficiency and diary utilisation.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, GDPR, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain staff records, training compliance, and audit readiness.
Liaise with external suppliers, accountants, HR providers, and regulators where required.
Staff Development & HR
Recruitment, onboarding, rota management, and performance management of staff.
Conduct appraisals, manage disciplinary processes, and support staff development.
Build a stable, accountable, high-performing team culture.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Dental Practice Manager, preferably in a private clinic.
Strong understanding of private dentistry workflows, patient conversion, and fee-based healthcare delivery.
Proven leadership and staff-management experience.
Solid knowledge of CQC compliance, HR basics, and dental regulatory requirements.
High level of organisation, accountability, and problem-solving ability.
Confident communicator with both patients and clinicians.
