DENTAL PRACTICE MANAGER REQUIRED

We are looking for a experienced Dental Practice Manager for a Dental Practice in Enfield, you will work alongside Regional Managers in the company, the COO and the Director.
The practice manager shall under direction of the COO ensure the efficient day to day running of the practice.

The specific objectives and duties are:
Objectives:
1. Effectively manage the relationship of the practice with both patients and referring dentists
2. Support the practice in all aspects of operating the practice.
3. Promote a team based culture in the practice and create a relaxed environment where all can work comfortably and effectively.
4. Ensure that all patients and practice information is treated as highly confidential
5. Assist the bookkeeper in the effective management of the practice finances.
Duties:
Patients and referring dentists

Welcome and generally look after patients are referring dentist s of the practice Produce letters to patients, dentists, insurance companies etc. Monitor and analyse new patients activity and referral patterns Ensure that the efficient and accurate operation of appointment and recall systems Ensure that patients records are kept in good order and completed correctly before filling Collect and record payments Ensure the operation of the practice patient complaint procedure
Administration:

CQC contact. Ensure compliance with CQC, Health and safety, regulatory bodies and equipment testing. Keeping all practice documentation up to date including policies, procedures and handbooks Backup systems in accordance with the practice policy Ensure the maintenance and operation of the computer systems Deal with practice mail in conjunction with the practice owner Liaise with dental laboratories, dental suppliers and other organisations as required Compile day sheets Organise the good upkeep of the practice Monitor telephone messages over the weekends regarding emergency calls from patients .
Finance:

Take responsibility for prompt banking of cheques and other payments and petty cash Ensure the operation of the practice payment policy and collection of outstanding debts Check invoices for payment Assist practice administrator Liaise with sales suppliers representatives as necessary and check costs Help to reduce practice costs where possible
Staffing:

Promote a team based culture in the practice and ensure that the practice owner is made aware of any problems that may occur. Keep staff records including time keeping and holiday taken Arrange holiday and other rotas Organise minute practice meetings
Other duties:

Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice (including the task of dental nursing in exceptional circumstances). Arrange and attend training of medical emergencies and CPR Undergo training required to develop your skills and abilities
