Practice Manager

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

Operational Management:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring seamless operations, efficient scheduling, and full compliance with all dental regulations (e.g., CQC/other local standards).

Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and manage the entire practice team (Receptionists, Dental Nurses, Hygienists, and Associates). Conduct staff appraisals, manage rotas, and foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work culture.

Financial & Business Management:

Manage practice budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), drive revenue growth, and manage accounts receivable/payable.

Patient Experience:

Ensure the highest standards of patient service, managing feedback, complaints, and working to continuously improve the patient journey.

Marketing & Growth:

Work with the team to implement marketing strategies and initiatives to grow the practice's patient base and service offerings.

What We're Looking For (Essential Requirements):

Proven experience (at least

3 years

) in a management role, preferably within a dental or healthcare setting. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage and inspire a diverse team. Strong financial acumen and experience with practice management software (

e.g., SFD, Dentally, EXACT]

). Excellent knowledge of

CQC, NHS E

and clinical governance standards. A proactive, organized, and problem-solving approach to management.
