Job Description

Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for an Experienced Facilities Manager, due to ongoing expansion and operational growth, we are seeking a proactive and organised Manager to oversee our new site in Bristol and support the smooth delivery of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the efficient and safe operation of the yard, including the organisation of materials, vehicles, tools, and equipment. Supervise yard operatives, providing clear instruction and leadership to ensure productivity and high standards. Coordinate deliveries and collections, including booking transport and liaising with suppliers. Maintain accurate records of inventory, vehicle movements, and stock levels. Enforce and uphold site health & safety procedures, carrying out regular inspections and ensuring compliance. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in line with environmental regulations. Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of the yard to ensure it remains clean, organised, and operational.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a yard, depot, or logistics management role (telecoms/utilities sector experience desirable). Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage a team and work independently. Forklift licence (desirable but not essential - training can be provided). Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice. Competent with basic IT systems (stock management tools, email, reporting platforms). A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
