Job Description

A well-established, growing and successful Engineering Services provider are currently looking to recruit a Depot Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of depot operations from depot welfare to inventory control on a full time permanent basis.

The Depot Supervisor will focus on the welfare of all depot-based employees, while also being fully accountable for inventory control of assets and contents within the depot.

Key responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Overseeing the depot's daily operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional running of all activities

Own and develop operational processes and systems that improve asset readiness, responsiveness, and service delivery.

Maintain full accountability for the depot's health & safety, cleanliness, organisation, and regulatory compliance.

Develop a supportive and inclusive culture that enhances employee satisfaction and promotes individual growth.

Set clear and measurable performance targets, conduct reviews, and drive accountability.

Act as a point of contact for day-to-day people issues, escalating where necessary.

Take full ownership of depot inventory

Essential requirements:

roven experience in depot/branch or operations management

Strong leadership qualities with a passion for developing teams and improving employee welfare.

In-depth understanding of inventory control, service planning, and operational systems.

High-level customer service experience with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.

IT literate with working knowledge of asset tracking or CRM systems.

Full UK Driving Licence

Forklift Truck Licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
