MAIN DUTIES
As Deputy Head you'll drive exceptionally high standards in line with the nursery's vision, partnering with the Headteacher to lead and deliver outstanding education, brilliant customer service and build a successful team. You will work hand in hand with the Head on all aspects of the nursery operations and compliance, leading a team of exceptional teachers and driving the highest educational standards. This is a role where your knowledge of children's education, customer service and people development combine to create an environment of safety, learning and fun.
CRITERIA
A Level 3 qualification recognised by the DfE for counting in the early years foundation stage framework staff:child ratios
A clear understanding of how children develop
A clear understanding of the ways children enjoy learning
A good knowledge of the EYFS
Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible
A can-do attitude
Strong communicator with both children and adults
REPORTING
Reports to the Headteacher/Nursery Manager
Enhanced DBS background check & 2 references required before employment commences

Pay: Up to 40,000.00 per year
