Deputy Manager and/or Room leader (Preschool and toddler rooms)



Salary: 28,900-32,085 (Room leader only - depending on experience and qualification) Up to 34,155 (Deputy Manager room based)



Hours: 38 hours per week



Holiday: 7 weeks of paid holiday




We are already rated Good with Outstanding features, and we are aiming higher. This position could be suitable for an experienced practitioner or even a former manager who would prefer to be classroom-based.


Les Petites Etoiles Angel is a private bilingual nursery with 26 children from 1,5 to 4 years old. The Nursery offers excellent teacher ratios and care.


We provide a morning snack, lunch and afternoon tea which are all balanced, nutritious, and prepared using fully organic ingredients. We are pleased to offer free lunches to our staff as well.

Who are we looking for




We are looking for experienced room leaders or deputy managers with Montessori diploma to work in our preschool room (2 to 4 years old) and support the Nursery Manager.


Required Qualifications:



Minimum Level 3 - UK qualifications


Montessori diploma is mandatory

Required Experience:




Minimum 1-year experience as a room leader.

Required Skills:



Leadership skills Thorough knowledge of the EYFS Relationship with staff Effective communication with parents Modelling best practice Good level of spoken and written English. This is an absolutely required skill. With good spoken and written English, we are able to give you the responsibility to write reports, ILPs and talk to parents. Our nurseries specialise in language skills, and ability here is an absolute "must". All applicants will have a written English test. Competent IT skills (Word, simple Excel)
