An established and supportive children's home in Greenford is seeking a dedicated and resilient
Deputy Manager
to help lead a 5-bed service supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader looking to take a step up into a Deputy Manager role, with a provider focused on development, quality care, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily running of the home
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team
Help ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
Promote safeguarding and high standards of care for all young people
Contribute to care planning and support individual development
Take part in the on-call rota and complete regular sleep-in shifts as required
Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
Experience working in an EBD setting
Previous experience leading shifts or supporting staff
Passionate, confident, and able to manage challenges calmly
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
Management experience is desirable but not required
What's Offered:
Salary up to 40,000, depending on experience
