As Deputy Manager, you'll be joining a dedicated team that provides care and support to children aged 7 to 17 with Mild Learning Difficulties and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered consistently.

Children aged 7-17 with Mild Learning Difficulties (LD) and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Hours & Pay:
Hours:
48 hours per week (4 x 12-hour shifts) on a rolling rota, days only. You will also be responsible for managing staff rotas, including your own shifts.

What You Need:
Qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce, or equivalent, such as Level 3 in Residential Childcare
Experience:
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Residential Support Worker in the residential childcare sector
Driving Licence:
A full, valid UK driving licence for manual vehicles
Skills:
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing; IT proficient with a desire to learn new skills
Understanding of:
Safeguarding children, residential childcare legislation, and confidence in supervising care teams
