Are you an experienced and dedicated Level 3 childcare professional looking for the next step in your career? Our well-established nursery in Egham is seeking a passionate Deputy Manager to join our leadership team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner with leadership aspirations to play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding care and education. You will work hand-in-hand with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of our setting and provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children.
### Key Responsibilities:
Support the Managerin the day-to-day operational leadership of the nursery.
Provide high-quality care and lead educational activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)*.
Act as a designated Deputy Manager, taking full charge of the setting in the Manager*'s absence.
Conduct medication rounds, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed meticulously.
Mentor and support a team of practitioners, promoting best practice in child care*.
Maintain excellent standards of health, safety, and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with Ofstedstatutory guidance.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
### Essential Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent child carequalification.
A minimum of three years' experience in a Deputy Managerrole within a nursery setting.
Proven experience and competence in administering and managing medication rounds*.
Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current Ofstedframeworks.
Confident and capable to work without supervisionand use initiative during day shifts.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team.
