Job Description

As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home, including staff management, budgets, and ensuring that a high standard of care is maintained at all times. Non shift DM hours as part of role and chance to progress to becoming a Registered Manager.

Requirements of role;



Providing a positive and enriching living experience that achieves the best outcomes for the young people Supporting the young people's emotional needs Leading, mentoring and motivating staff teams Be responsible for all aspects of day to day management alongside the Registered Manager To deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager Ensuring the smooth-running of the home within Ofsted requirements and guidelines To raise and maintain high quality childcare standards. Undertaking wider operational tasks when required

Requirements:



Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent Level 5 Leadership & Management is desirable Prior experience managing and leading staff teams Experience working within a childcare setting or with young people Full Driving Licence
