'Tudor House Day Nurseries' are a group of 10 private day nursery settings within the Lancashire area. They are currently looking for a qualified, experienced Deputy Manager, that holds a minimum level 3 in childcare to work at their newest nursery in Langho. The nursery is now officially open.

Requirements:

Previous Deputy Managers experience is advantageous

3 years childcare experience is essential

Excellent understanding of the EYFS and OFSTED requirements .

Current EYFS & Safeguarding knowledge is essential

SEND experience is preferred

Observation, Assessment & Planning knowledge is essential

Duties Involve:

Working under the supervision of the manager on management duties.

Implementing high standards of support and inspiration to a team of professional staff.

To support the aims of the nursery and assist in the development of the nursery setting.

Team building and staff support.

Promote the high standards of the nursery

Liaisons with parents, staff and external agencies.

Reporting to Nursery Manager on a daily/weekly basis.
