The Role
As
Deputy Nursery Manager
, you'll support the Nursery Manager in leading the team and ensuring children receive the very best start in life.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum with exciting, child-centred learning
Lead, mentor, and inspire staff to deliver outstanding practice every day
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, carers, and prospective families
Support staff development and performance through coaching and feedback
Help manage nursery operations, occupancy, and compliance with Ofsted standards
Handle challenges with a calm, positive, and solution-focused approach
About You
Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
Experience in a leadership role within a nursery/early years setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Passionate about giving every child the best start
