Deputy Nursery Manager

to join our Ilkeston branch.

This is a

full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week)

and offers a fantastic opportunity to support the leadership team in providing high-quality childcare and education.children.

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification

in Childcare or a related field

1+ years of experience

as a Deputy Nursery Manager or in a similar role Strong understanding of

EYFS

, Health and Safety, and child safeguarding policies Excellent

leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Passionate about fostering teamwork and supporting staff development

Employment is subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check

Candidates who have lived or worked abroad within the last 5 years will need to provide an

overseas criminal record check

Your Role at MRN

Support the Nursery Manager in

day-to-day operations

and ensuring compliance with all regulations Oversee and maintain

high standards

of care, practice, and staff performance Ensure

EYFS

and

safeguarding

standards are consistently met Build and maintain

positive relationships

with parents and carers Assist with

recruitment, onboarding, and staff training

Work flexible,

rotating shifts

within nursery operating hours (7:30 am - 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday)
