Responsibilities
Assist the Nursery Manager in the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in early childhood education.
Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality childcare services.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing concerns and providing updates on their children's progress.
Drive initiatives that promote children's development through engaging activities and educational programmes.
Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth among staff members.
Maintain accurate records related to children's attendance, development milestones, and any incidents that may occur within the nursery.
Ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
Experience
A background in early childhood education is essential, with experience in managing or supervising childcare settings being highly desirable.
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
